Ethiopian Commercial Bank

The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) is the largest commercial bank in Ethiopia. As of June 2015, its assets were approximately 303.6 billion birr, accounting for approximately 67% of national bank deposits and approximately 53% of all bank loans.

The Ethiopian Commercial Bank has approximately 22,908 employees and more than 1,000 branches are located in major cities and regional towns in Ethiopia, including 120 branches in the capital Addis Ababa. As of February 12, 2016, it had 1,014 branches.
