BLOM Bank is a Lebanese bank. The bank was founded in 1951 by Hajj Hussein Al Oueini, George Maluf, Najib Yafet and Sheikh Boutros El-Huli. The chairman is Mr. Saad Al-Azhari.
At first, the name of Blom Bank was Banque du Liban et d’Outre-Mer SAL, and in December 2000 it was renamed Blom Bank. It provides: retail banking, corporate banking, private banking, investment banking, insurance and Islamic banking services.
Currently, Blom Bank’s business covers 12 countries, including: Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, UAE, France, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Romania, Cyprus, Egypt, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
Blom Bank is headquartered in Rue Verdun, Beirut, Lebanon. It has 25 branches in Beirut, 25 branches in Mount Lebanon, 4 branches in northern Lebanon, 3 branches in southern Lebanon, 3 branches in Bekaa and 1 branch in Nabatiyah Branch, with 1 branch in France, 3 branches in the UAE, 1 branch in the United Kingdom, 5 branches in Romania, 1 branch in Switzerland, 28 branches in Syria, and 27 branches in Egypt , Has 1 branch in Saudi Arabia, 1 branch in Qatar, 1 branch in Cyprus, and 10 branches in Jordan.
