Central Library of Astan Quds Razavi is a large library located in Mashhad, Iran. It was established before 1457 and has more than 1.1 million books. It is also an international Islamic research financial center, containing a large number of Islamic historical manuscripts and ancient rare works.
Central Library of Astan Quds Razavi has 35 branch libraries:
17 library libraries are in Mashhad, Iran.
5 libraries are in Khorasan Province.
12 libraries are in other cities in Iran.
1 library in India.
Currently, the Central Library of Astan Quds Razavi building was completed in 1995, with a construction area of 28,800 square meters, and it was officially opened to the public in April 1995.
