The Lao National Assembly (Laos) is a unicameral assembly of Laos, which holds meetings in Vientiane. Laos is a one-party country. This means that Laos has only one political party-the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.
The Lao National Assembly was established in accordance with the 1991 Lao Constitution and replaced the Lao Supreme People’s Assembly. After the elections in December 1997, the number of seats for councillors increased to 99.

Economic, Planning and Finance Committee,

National Defense and Security Committee,
