Laguindingan International Airport (Laguindingan Airport) is an airport serving the cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan in the Philippines. It is rated as a Class 1 major domestic airport by the Civil Aviation Administration of the Philippines.
Laguindingan Airport is located on 4.17 square kilometers (1.61 square miles) of Barangay Moog in Laguindingan, 46 kilometers (29 miles) from Cagayan de Oro, and 57 kilometers (35 miles) from Iligan.
Laguindingan Airport was opened on June 15, 2013 to replace the Lumbia Airport in Baranay Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro.
The Laguindingan Airport project is planned to be developed in compliance with international safety and operational standards to meet the air transportation needs of the region. The airport project also promotes economic activity in the Cagayan-Irigan Corridor and hopes to serve as a gateway to Northern Mindanao.
Laguindingan Airport has a single runway of 2100 x 45 meters and a passenger terminal of 7,184 square meters (77,330 square feet) that can accommodate 1.6 million passengers per year.
