Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant), also known as CTZ-Uraltrak, is a tractor plant located in Chelyabinsk, Russia.
In 1990, the Chelyabinsk Tractor Factory produced a tractor equipped with a hydraulic mechanical transmission system. In 2008, the company acquired 100% of the shares of the amphibious crawler machine manufacturing company ‘Vityaz’.
As of 2011, the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant produces wheeled and tracked tractors, related modified vehicles and related components, and tractor engines up to 1,000 horsepower (750 kilowatts).
Since 2010, the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant has been licensed by the Bulgarian company Balkancar Record to manufacture forklifts. The company also produces road tankers, semi-trailers and pipeline installation road vehicles.
The Chelyabinsk Tractor Factory was established on June 1, 1933. In 2009, there were 20,000 employees. The parent company is Uralvagonzavod.
