Palestinian Airlines (Palestinian Airlines) is an Egyptian airline headquartered in Arish. The airline is owned by the Palestinian National Authority, but it is not recognized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation of Egypt.
Palestine Airlines ceased operations in 2005 but resumed operations in May 2012. Its current base is Arish International Airport. It is a member of the Arab Air Transport Organization.
Palestine Airlines was established on January 1, 1995 and began operations in June 1997. It provides charter flights with pilgrims to Jeddah (Saudi Arabia). The flight was originally planned to take off from Gaza, but due to the Israeli ban, the flight can only take off from Port Said in northern Egypt.
Palestine Airlines launched regular flights from Arish to Jordan and Saudi Arabia on July 23, 1997. It is wholly owned by the Palestinian National Authority. As of March 2007, the company has 398 employees.
