Canada Revenue Agency

The Canada Revenue Agency (Canada Revenue Agency) is a federal agency responsible for administering the Canadian government and most provinces and territories tax laws and international trade legislation. The agency provides benefits to society and the economy through the tax system. It is also responsible for overseeing the registration of Canadian charities and tax credit programs, such as scientific research and experimental development tax credit programs.

The Canada Revenue Agency was formerly the Canadian Customs and Revenue Agency. It was not until the Canadian Federal Government was reorganized in December 2003 that it was renamed its current name. The agency has a total of 40,000 employees, and the minister is Kerry Lynn Findlay.
