East Texas Regional Airport is a county-level public airport in Texas, USA, located 8 nautical miles (9 miles, 15 kilometers) south of the central business district of Greg Longview. The airport is mainly used for general aviation and military training, and American Airlines/American Eagle provides regular flight services to Dallas/Fort Worth.
Every summer, the East Texas Regional Airport hosts the Great Texas Balloon Competition, a volunteer weekend event held every year since 1980.
The East Texas Regional Airport covers an area of 1,300 acres (526 hectares) and has an altitude of 365 feet (111 meters). The airport has two asphalt-paved runways: Runway 13/31 is 10,000 feet x 150 feet (3048 meters x 46 meters) and Runway 18/36 is 6109 feet x 150 feet (1862 meters x 46 meters).
