Prometey Bank is an Armenian commercial bank headquartered in Yerevan. It was founded by Simon Gevorgyan in 1990. The bank is jointly owned by Prometey City LLC, Zakneftegazstroy Prometey OJSC and Vazgen Simon Gevorgyan.

1990: As Prometheus Commercial Bank was established in Yerevan Hrachya Kochar 19 Street.
1993: Obtained a general bank license number.
2001: The bank changed its name to’Prometey Bank’ LLC and moved its headquarters to another new building .
2007: Obtained a bank broker (dealer) license, and can operate custody and securities entrusted wealth management services in the Armenian securities market.
2008: Issued its own private placement bonds.
2011: Registered capital reached 14.4 billion drams.
2013: Implement the ‘Prometey Progress’ student vocational training program.
The chairman of the management committee of Prometey Bank is Emil Soghomonyan. The shareholders include: Prometey City LLC (holding 49.975% shares), Zakneftegazstroy Prometey OJSC (holding 46.125% shares), and Vazgen Simon Gevorgyan (holding 3% shares).
