Phnom Penh Commercial Bank (PPCB) is a Cambodian public bank with its head office located on Monivong Avenue in Phnom Penh. The bank was established on September 1, 2008 and has a paid-up capital of US$15 million.
Phnom Penh Commercial Bank is a joint venture established by South Korea’s Hyundai Swiss Savings Bank (now called SBI Savings Bank) and SBI Group. SBI Group has invested 6 million U.S. dollars and holds 40% of the equity, while Hyundai Swiss Savings Bank has invested 8.55 million U.S. dollars and holds 57% of the equity. The remaining 3% of the equity comes from another Korean financial group.
Phnom Penh Commercial Bank is the 23rd commercial bank in Cambodia, and the first Cambodian bank was established by a Japanese company.
Phnom Penh Commercial Bank provides several core personal banking services, including: savings accounts, time deposits, corporate and personal loans, ATMs and various corporate banking services. It also provides various services, such as trade financing services, including: documentary credit, shipping guarantee, import single collection, trust receipt and bill receivable financing business.
