Marayo Bank is a Philippine bank that was established in 1969 as the Rural Bank of Marayo. It was established under the Philippine Rural Bank Act of 1952, and it mainly provides loans to farmers and small businessmen.
On November 18, 1969, Marayo Bank was established in Pontevedra, a small town on the west coast of Negros Occidental. It is still the only bank in town. In 2005, it opened a second branch in Enrique B. (EB) Magalona, a coastal town 65 kilometers (40 miles) north of Pontevedra.
Marayo Bank provides deposits (checks, savings and fixed deposits), loans (agriculture, business, wages, pensions and mortgages), Western Union and overseas remittance transfer services. Franklin G. Fuentebella is responsible for chairing the seven-person board. President and General Manager Jesus E. Campos, Jr is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bank.
