name: Denmark Northern Savings Bank
Spar Nord is a Danish bank with its headquarters in northern Jutland, Denmark. The history of the bank can be traced back to May 12, 1824, when Bye og Omegns Sparekasse district and county (savings bank) was the predecessor of the Danish Northern Savings Bank, which was established in Aalborg. By the 20th century, Bye og Omegns Sparekasse merged and was renamed the current short form Sparekassen Nordjylland (a savings bank in northern Jutland). In the past decade, its bank has opened multiple offices in larger towns outside of northern Jutland, Denmark.
