Morningstar Air Express (Morningstar Air Express) is a Canadian cargo airline headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta. It provides FedEx Express from Montreal to Winnipeg and all-cargo charter flights based on contractual agreements. Its main base is Edmonton City Center Airport.
Brookton Aviation Co., Ltd. was founded in the summer of 1970 by two Edmonton businessmen: Mr. Don Wheaton and Dr. Beverbrook. In January 1992, the company changed its name to Morningstar Air Express. Its main shareholders include: Donald Wheaton ( 50% shares) and Kim Ward (50% shares).
In the 1970s, due to the economic impact of Alberta’s’oil boom’, Morningstar Air Express developed rapidly. During this period, the company expanded its business to Cessna sales, after-sales service and parts centers, fuel distributors and a full range of ‘FBO’ service centers.
In the early 1980s, Morningstar Air Express divested its piston aircraft, continued to expand its turboprop and corporate jet aircraft, and increased its aircraft leasing business.
