Big Ten Network is an American sports network. The network broadcast includes: ten schools, studio shows, coaching programs, documentaries, and other programs related to the conference. Currently, the network covers approximately 90 million households in the United States and serves 100 million households in the United States and Canada. Its headquarters are located in the former Montgomery Ward of Chicago on Chicago Avenue, Illinois.

Big Ten Network was officially launched on August 30, 2007. On September 1, 2007, the network began its first live broadcast, including a football match between Appalachia and Michigan. In June 2010, Fox held 51% of its shares. In the 2011 college football season, the network launched a new service TV service called’BTN2Go’, which provides live broadcast of BTN channels through a web browser or mobile application. The service was initially only provided to Time Warner Cable, Charter Communications, DirecTV and Dish Network users.

Mark Silverman is the first president of Big Ten Network. He was the senior vice president and general manager of ABC Cable Network Group. Mark Silverman took office in July 2009 as the Vice President of Production/Executive Producer. Previously, he served as executive producer of Fox Sports in the Midwest, Fox Sports in Kansas City and Fox Sports in Indiana.

Currently, Michael Calderon is the vice president of Big Ten Network. Since March 2007, Elizabeth Conlisk has been the vice president. Elizabeth Conlisk studied at Ohio State University in the United States for six years, and recently became the company’s special assistant president. Quentin Carter serves as the senior coordinating producer, overseeing Studio shows since 2007.
