University of Illinois Willard Airport (University of Illinois Willard Airport) is an airport located south of Savoy, Torono Township, Champaign County, Illinois, USA. It is owned and operated by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
The University of Illinois Willard Airport was established on October 26, 1945. The airline launched flights in 1954. The terminal building built in 1960 was not completed until 1987. By 1969, the University of Illinois Willard Airport was the second busiest airport in Illinois.
The University of Illinois Willard Airport covers an area of 1,799 acres (728 hectares) and has three runways:
4/22 concrete runway: 6501 feet × 150 feet (1982 meters × 46 meters)
14L/32R concrete runway: 8102 feet × 150 feet (2469 meters × 46 meters)
14R/32L asphalt runway: 3817 feet × 75 feet (1163 meters × 23 meters)
