According to a 2008 survey by Compete.com, HowStuffWorks will attract at least 58 million visits each year. HowStuffWorks.com has also released a series of’LidRock’ CDs of UBM trivia. HowStuffWorks recently acquired Mobil Travel Guide and Consumer Guide.
HowStuffWorks International was launched in March 2007. HowStuffWorks International is a Portuguese website. The headquarters of HowStuff International is in Sao Paulo, Brazil. On October 15, 2007, Discovery Media announced that they had acquired HowStuffWorks for US$250 million.
